I actually haven't done this in two or three years, so I figured it was time again. Go ahead, ask my anything, ask any question that you've wanted to ask me that has been burning in your mind. I will post the questions in the entry and answer them. If you would like your question to be anonymous, please send me a note and I will not attach your name to it.
Here's a link to the old one
[link]Feel free to re-ask questions too, I don't mind!

When you come to the Venezuelan conventions? :3 xD

Hmmm, good question! No idea! I've only been to Canada and the U.S. ;~;

Why are you such a loser?

Because I lived with you for a year.

Are you still acting?

Sadly, no. I did some stuff when I moved here, but I really just do not have the time. I spend pretty much all my time shooting, editing and working on client websites. I'd like to, but it's really tough. Also finding an agent who caters to my appearance is really difficult.

Yesterday, Mel and I were wondering if you and Adam live together.

No, we don't.

WHAT WHY?

Immigrations is a bitch.

What do we have to bribe you with to get you out to Fanime next year?

Haha! I've really been wanting to go. I'd drop AX to go to Fanime, but it's so close to ACen.

I always wondered about the truth behind the cervical cancer rumors. I was kinda worried when I heard them, but there's so many screwed up stories about it 0.o

Not the first time I've cleared this up and it won't be the last, I'm sure. Half true, half false. I was diagnosed with a rare form of HPV and had precancerous cells in my cervix. I had to have it frozen to kill off the cells before they had a chance to keep rapid producing and form into cancer. The last time I went to the doctor I tested HPV free and cancer free.

What equipment would you suggest to an aspiring photographer? (lenses, bodies, flashes, tripods, filters etc.)
Also, do you have any tips on moving forward in the industry, or even where to begin?

I assume you are talking in the rhelm of professional equipment. I shoot with a Nikon D300, in the SLR line, I started with the D70, moved to the D200, then the camera I have now. The best way to answer this is, see which format you like the most. I have shot both Canon and Nikon and I prefer Nikon. I like where all the buttons are and it just feels right to me. The D70 is a wonderful starter camera (you can get it pretty cheap too)
As far as lenses go, it depends on what you are shooting. I shoot with a 50mm f/1.8 and an 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6. I love my 18-200mm, which is my primary lens, but the f-stop is terrible. It's a magnificent zoom lens and one of the best. If you are shooting people, you want a good prime lens (50mm, 85mm), but you also have to take into account that if your camera is not a full frame camera (most digital SLRs are NOT), it adds more magnification to it.
Flashes are pretty standard. You buy the one that the company that made your camera makes. I have an SB800 (thought there is now a SB900) and I love my flash. It recovers very quickly and can shoot for a while before it starts to give.
As far as the other stuff, always good to have a diffuser around (I have an 80-20 and an inflatable), tripod (make sure it can handle a heavy SLR!), LOTS and LOTS of rechargeable batteries (and don't skimp on the quality!), extra memory cards(I have a 4gig and 2 16gigs) and extra camera batteries (I also have a battery grip).
Filters, I rarely use them but your lens should ALWAYS have a UV filter on it. It adds extra protection to your lens. I've shattered a couple now. A Polarizer is always handy to have, it runs at the frequency of glass, so you can shoot without reflections. It also works well with blues and greens, but it does cause some vignetting. I also have a few neutral density filters for shooting outside.
Hope this helps!
The second part!
It's really all about getting your name out there and meeting people. Having a website and business cards it a great start. Updating a blog frequently gets people coming back to your site every day. My blog gets about 6k hits a day. Join the usual suspects, ModelMayhem, MySpace, Facebook, put stuff up on here. Shoot for people who will post your work and credit you. I did some stuff for Funimation and they linked me on their site, got me a lot of press.

would you work as a model for internet sites advertising if the proposal is interesting enough? [for example, an independent shirt's dsign site], with out being nude or too sexually explicit, or just plain wrong?

I don't see why not.

HI HOW ARE YOU?

GOOD AND YOU?

you have a variety of subjects/settings in your photography, but what do you enjoy photographing most?

I love this question. I love shooting people. People are so dynamic and unpredictable. It's really nice. So much can be expressed with a look or a touch. '
As far as what I would like to shoot; I'd really like to shoot more fashion and I would LOOOOOOVE to start doing still photography for movies or TV shows.

why did you start in the photography
the reason of you love to take pictures

To be honest, I never thought I would be a good photographer. My friend ~
jferson used to let me play around with her digital camera, but she was always a lot better than myself. When I took a trip down the Florida, my roommate at the time let me borrow his D70. I took a picture of a seagull (which is in my gallery) and it came out really well. Still one of my best photos.
Photography is the one medium I didn't feel pressured to perform it. It just comes naturally to me. I took art classes for a good 12 years and the teacher always harped on me about my style and methods. Photography just clicked with me.

Where do you draw your strength from and can you bottle it and send me some? Because you're quite possibly the strongest person I know.

Haha.. most of the time I have no idea. I always tell people "morbid curiosity" or "habit". I'm just not where I want to be in life yet, so I gotta keep going.
Thank you, Ben, but you are a lot stronger than you give yourself credit for.

If given the chance to shoot something or someone in particular, who or what would it be?

I mentioned earlier that I would love to do still photography for movies or TV shows.I would love to shoot Stephen Colbert similarly to how I shot Tim Gunn. I have another idea too. Someday I'll present him with them. I would just... drop dead if I ever got to shoot Olivia Wilde. There's a lot of "somethings" I'd like to shoot too. Requires me to travel though.

Are you a published photographer?

Depends on your definition of published. My photography has been in a few cosplay magazines, but nothing I would write home to mom about.

Who do you really want to work with in the industry?

Photographer wise, I'd love to work with Annie Lebovwitz or `
lithiumpicnic. Person wise, Olivia Wilde, Stephen Colbert, the list really is endless. There's so many wonderfully talented and gorgeous people I would love to work with.

Out of all the cosplays you have done, which one is your favorite and least favorite? :3

Favorite one of my earlier costumes is Edward from Cowboy Bebop. From my recent it's REALLY hard to choose, Maetel from Galaxy Express 999 (no photos yet!), I adore Taiga, so I love my Taiga costume and I'll always love Haruhi. Least favorite... Probably Etna. The wig never stays and it's uncomfortable.

Do you like pokemons?Whats your favourite one!?

Togepi! He's so cute~

What's the best way to get grass stains out of a work shirt?

Step one: Buy new shirt
Step two: ????
Step thre: Profit

Is it weird that i know the web safe hex value of my favorite color?

That is pretty awesome. What is it?

Will there be anymore awesome and entertaining series coming up soon, like "Last transmission"?

There's a couple of really neat ones coming up! Nothing like LT, but I promise you'll like them.

do you ever visit the South East?

I do go to Dragon*Con and I lived in Florida for a couple of years.

What would be your greatest asset, in terms of physical, in traits and work ethics? Thanks.

My inability to do anything other than work my ass off. That and my artistic eye.

Do you allow others to reference your work for ideas, so long as they credit you?

Yes, though I'm rarely linked to the end product.
