RIP Michael Turner and Anime Expo

Today is the one year anniversary of a beloved comic book artist, Michael Turner. I have a much more detailed dedication here:



May he rest in peace in his eternal Avalon.


I am going to Anime Expo this year. I will be floating around the Funimation booth a lot. I'm bringing school uniform Rei, Taiga, Mimi from Rin and Plugsuit Rei (god willing)

Anyone else going?

When you go, do you pay for these events, or do you get passes to "work" them?

Usually I get passes from the company that I do promotions for. Sometimes press and on the case of ACen, staff.

I'm a bit late, but RIP Michael Turner.

As for Expo, I wish I was going! I produced a fanfilm that received a panel slot for Expo, but I couldn't afford to go, so it's just the director going :( Have fun though!

I'd only go to anime expo because I hear there's a booth that sells cheap prop weapons.
Unfortunately there is no con that I know of that sells cheap costumes, prosthetic makeup and props.
